Episode 1: Introduction to AI Agents & Modern Architectures
The Agentic Architecture series is designed to bridge the gap between emerging AI agent concepts and real-world enterprise implementation.
We kick off the series by exploring the core use case and setting the foundation for everything that follows. Rather than jumping straight into development, we take a structured, end-to-end approach—starting with the critical building blocks required to support agentic systems in production environments.
This includes environment setup, governance, security, and DLP considerations, ensuring that what we build is not only functional, but also scalable and enterprise-ready.
As the series progresses, we move into hands-on development, demonstrating how to design and implement intelligent agents using Microsoft technologies such as Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Agent 365, and Dataverse.
We also cover key architectural patterns, managed identities, sharing models, and governance strategies that are essential for deploying and managing agents at scale.
The goal of this series is to provide a practical, step-by-step roadmap for anyone looking to design, build, and operationalize agentic AI systems in modern enterprise environments.
