AI agents are no longer experiments. They're joining organizations as digital teammates, handling claims, answering HR questions, and automating workflows. But who manages them, what can they access, and what happens when one goes rogue?

In this session for Cloud Champion, David Lorenzo and I introduced Microsoft Agent 365, the new control plane for managing AI agents like employees. We explained how agents get their own identity through Microsoft Entra Agent ID, how the owner and manager model brings accountability, and how IT gains visibility into what every agent is doing.

We also showed how Agent 365 blueprints get created for Copilot Studio agents and Microsoft Foundry agents. For the live demo, we brought in an AI teammate we built with the Microsoft Agent Framework in Python and registered through the Agent 365 SDK. We showed it registered, monitored, and shut down instantly when needed, so people left with a clear picture of how to bring AI teammates into their organization safely.
